POST-VISIT CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND SURVEY

The Writing Resource Center will send an email to all students who have completed a tutoring session.  It will be sent on the day of the appointment after 9:00pm.  This email can be used as proof of your attendance (provided that you don't cancel or miss your appointment).  It also includes a link to a short survey that you may use to comment on your recent tutoring session.

If you need a copy of your proficiency exam, please visit the Writing Resource Center at 132 West 21st Street, 9th floor (weekdays, between 930am-430pm).

We cannot share PEs via email unless you took the exam online. If your tutoring session is online, you will need to type your essay (with errors) and share it with the tutor.

Remote and In-Person Tutoring Reservation

(Spring 2024)

The WRC offers both remote and in-person (west and east side) tutoring.

If you're a new student, you must create a new account (DO NOT use your MyID information). After signing in, please refer to the schedule to determine which tutors work remotely, in-person, or on the East Side.

Most in-person tutoring will be held at: 132 W. 21st Street, 9th Floor (WRC) unless noted.

East Side tutoring will be held at: 310 E. 22nd Street, 816-G.

Please have your writing assignment ready.  The tutor may ask you to print it out for review (you may print at the WRC).  Instructions on how to connect with a tutor remotely will be posted on the schedule.  Other tutoring information can be found below.

Public Speaking Lab (PSL) Reservation

The WRC will offer time each week to work with one of our trained speech and language consultants (in-person), who will help tailor your message and delivery to prepare you for an upcoming interview, speech, presentation, or other speech-related projects.  Our consultants can also help with general feedback and support with your public speaking skills.
