POST-VISIT CONFIRMATION EMAIL

The Writing Resource Center will send an email to all students who have completed a writing consultation.  It will be sent on the day of the appointment after 9:00pm.  This email can be used as proof of your attendance (provided that you don't cancel or miss your appointment).  It also includes a link to a short survey that you may use to comment on your recent writing session.

If you need a copy of your proficiency exam, please visit the Writing Resource Center at 132 West 21st Street, 9th floor (Summer: Monday-Thursday only, between 1030am-430pm).

We cannot share PEs via email unless you took the exam online. If your writing session is online, you will need to type your essay (with errors) and share it with the writing consultant.

Remote and In-Person Writing Consultations

The WRC offers both remote and in-person (west and east side) writing consultations.

If you're a new student, you must create a new account.  After signing in, please refer to the schedule to determine which consultants work remotely, in-person, or on the East Side.

Most in-person consultations will be held at: 132 W. 21st Street, 9th Floor (WRC) unless noted.

East Side consultations will be held at: 310 E. 22nd Street, 816-G.

Please have your writing assignment ready.  The consultant may ask you to print it out for review (you may print at the WRC).  Instructions on how to connect with a consultant remotely will be posted on the schedule.  Other information can be found below.

Public Speaking Lab (PSL) Reservation

The WRC's trained speech and language consultants will help tailor your message and delivery to prepare you for an upcoming interview, speech, presentation, or other speech-related projects.  Our consultants can also help with general feedback and support with your public speaking skills.
